Agreed!  A long time user of Apple Watch, would like to move to Garmin, but wish not to move to a series where a new one will soon be released.  Very interested in the Venu 4.

Not sure about the timeline, but I seriously hope they don't release anymore Venu series. Garmin's lineup is outright frustrating, confusing, and disastrous. It is impossible to justify the Venu 3 at 450$ and also FR265 at 450$. What's more problematic is, the FR165 at 299$ has slightly better software features than the 450$ Venu 3. 

Garmin has to address these inconsistencies. For you, I would suggest going for the FR series and I guess a new FR 275 is also on it's way (as FR 265 is 2 years old now).

If FR have an ecg I will buy it asap but that not have an ecg mode like finix or venu
