When will the Garmin Venu 3 Plus or VENU 4 be available?

Love my VENU 2 Plus. Was planning on upgrading to the VENU 3, but realize an update might be around the corner to a 3 Plus or the 4.

please advise as to the timeframe of a new and improved model.

    Looking at the release pattern of Garmin’s Venu series, there seems to be a roughly annual cycle for new models, typically ranging from one to one and a half years between releases. Here’s the breakdown:

    Venu (Sep 2019) to Venu Sq (Sep 2020): ~1 year.

    Venu Sq to Venu 2 (Apr 2021): ~7 months.

    Venu 2 to Venu 2 Plus (Jan 2022): ~9 months.

    Venu 2 Plus to Venu Sq 2 (Sep 2022): ~8 months.

    Venu Sq 2 to Venu 3 (Aug 2023): ~12 months.

    Given this pattern, a new Garmin Venu model could potentially be released anywhere between mid to late 2024, around 12 to 16 months after the Venu 3. So, we could anticipate a new model around fall 2024, possibly between August and October, based on the current cycle.

  • I am in the exact same boat and would love to skip a generation if the V4 will be out anytime soon.

  • There appears to be many YouTube clips on the Venu 4 on features and benefits from previous versions, but nothing on update as to when the release date.  Anyone have updates?

  • Agreed!  A long time user of Apple Watch, would like to move to Garmin, but wish not to move to a series where a new one will soon be released.  Very interested in the Venu 4.

  • Not sure about the timeline, but I seriously hope they don't release anymore Venu series. Garmin's lineup is outright frustrating, confusing, and disastrous. It is impossible to justify the Venu 3 at 450$ and also FR265 at 450$. What's more problematic is, the FR165 at 299$ has slightly better software features than the 450$ Venu 3.

    Garmin has to address these inconsistencies. For you, I would suggest going for the FR series and I guess a new FR 275 is also on it's way (as FR 265 is 2 years old now).

  • If FR have an ecg I will buy it asap but that not have an ecg mode like finix or venu

  • I guess the next one will have it. FR 265 and 965 are now 2 years old, so they are due for an update.

  • I’m actually rather excited for the next Venu. I don’t like or want all the balls and whistles for the other more sport oriented watches — I’m probably more the demographic that would otherwise buy something like an Apple smart watch since I only care about the general health/sleep tracking, but I prefer Garmin’s interface and think they are overall a better watch brand. It sounds to me like you’re probably more in the FR boat, but don’t let them take the Venu away from me ;-;

    also garmin if you’re reading this — the next venu NEEDS to have sapphire. Please and thank you!

  • Yeah, I thought so too. I ended up returning my Venu 3 thinking they’d come out with a 3 Plus or 4 in the next year with sapphire… it’s been over a year and still no idea when the next model will be out. None of the online articles have been accurate, and Garmin doesn’t seem to disclose their release dates. Been waiting in anticipation since August.
