Venu3 makes call drop on my phone

My phone is Galaxy Z Fold4, Android mobile. I have experienced many random call drops. For the first time, I thought that my mobile has a problem. So  I visited Samsung mobile customer center to fix it, But after mobile log analysis, it turned out that the watch made call drops. There is no way to avoid this issue except disconnecting my watch from my phone while having cal now. After disconnecting Venu3 from my phone, there is no more call drop issues.

Venu3 is very good watch except this point. Please solve this issue as soon as possible!

If this issue is not solved, I don't recommend Garmin watch as everyday use and please remove the feature "call is available on Venu3" from your advertising copy.

I will wait for the answer from Garmin.

    I have update my watch with the lastest beta version. The issue with call drop is still présent. I also have issue when my phone is connected to my venu 3 and the Bluetooth of my car. In this case, when I used the Bluetooth of my car to call someone, the volume of the speaker is abnormally low. When I disconnect the watch, the volume of the speaker of my car is ok.

    I am quite disappointed with the Bluetooth of this watch. My previous watch was a Huawei gt2 pro and I never have these issues.

  • Same issue with Samsung S21, i thought my watch was bad so updated to new S24. For first 2 days, i didn't connect the watch (Venue 3) and everything was perfect. As soon as the watch was connected, calls started being dropped. Extremely frustrating and negates the value of the watch entirely.

  • Hi All. I posted this VoC 1 month ago. Garmin requested me to send log and I sent it. But after that, I didn't get answer from them. In the last week, I needed to call several times. So whenever I called, I disconnected Venu3. Very uncomfortable. If Garmin support team see this message, please share how the analyzing is going.

  • Mám stejný problém na Honor 90. 

    Celkově mám velké problémy s voláním na Venu 3. Hodinky na hovor neupozorní, přijde pouze notifikace o prošlém hovoru. Když chci z hodinek volat, hovor se hned ukončí. Jsem velice zklamaný z těchto hodinek. Takové problémy jsem u Garmin zařízení nečekal. 

  • I have the same issue  : Whenever I get a call through my car system (and I'm wearing my Venu 3 watch), the call drops (I have no problem with phone calls in my car when I'm not wearing my watch). Sure, I can turn off "Call Audio" option in the connectivity section of the watch (workaround)... BUT I paid $200 more for this watch so I could use it for calls... Has Garmin found a solution for this?

  • I’m having call issues as well, and at this point I’m losing any faith I have that Garmin will resolve the issue. I am surprised that this issue didn’t appear in whatever testing that’s done before release.   It reminds me of the really early days of Bluetooth, where limited range and buggy connections seemed to be the norm. In 2024 it shouldn’t happen, especially since the mic and call making abilities are used as a selling point for the Venu 3.

    Oui c'est ça. À chaque fois que je reçois un appel et que je décroche avec mon téléphone je n'entends personne. Il faut que je fasse la manipulation suivante depuis mon téléphone: 

    Activer le haut parleur de mon téléphone puis remettre en mode téléphone afin de feinter l'appel en cours.
