Serial number sticker fell off - what is the hole where it was stuck? Is it ok to leave it exposed without the sticker?

It’s good to know I’m not alone :) 

- 6 month old (sticker fell off 2 weeks ago)
- used just as a typical smart watch (notifications, payments, ...) - no swimming nor any other sport activity

Same here, after only 1 month in use (regular watch-usage & a bit of sports/hiking) the sticker fell off. While it easy to locate the serial number elsewhere, it says something about quality.

I however do not understand how this is seen as not being an issue for a smartwatch that costs several hundreds of Euros (I paid it 400+ Euro in Germany almost exactly one year ago).

Garmin sells watches also based on their appearance and on the perception of quality. Having a piece fall off, albeit a non-functionally important one, while the watch is well within its warranty period is not a good look. I really hope Garmin will offer to replace the serial number plate (not a sticker) on my VENU 3S, which fell off today and was lost.

The plate has come off my forrunner 265 this morning ang I can't find it. Is my watch safe to use? I only bought this 5 months ago so I'm not really happy
