Second day in a row my nap is not detected. Trying to be productive, but I would like to see this work. Do I have to activate something, wrong settings?

If you take a nap after a meal, your stomach starts digesting and your heart rate increases. As a result, the body battery decreases.
Today my first (long) nap in the afternoon that was detected automatically, with a positive result for my body battery (+13). Also the sleep needs are decreased. Curious if it will work with shorter naps…
It makes sense that the trigger to detect naps is lowering the heart rate, lower stress and lower respiration. Maybe that's why my first 2 naps are not detected outside in the sun, in a high temperature…
Mine is not great at detecting naps. It frequently misses them.
I can understand that it uses HR, but could use other stats like being still. I had an Amazfit GTR before and, though not perfect, it would detect naps better.
Another thing happened about sleep. the first weekend with the watch I got to bed at about 3am and it did not track any sleep. The sleep hours are between 23:30 and 08:30, so I started sleeping during the time period.
So battery was 5 all day.
I already tried this. It did not work.
The Amazfit watches are really good at detecting naps in my experience. And have had the function for years. I'm not sure why Garmin finds it so hard.
This past week my venu 3 has started detecting naps. Not sure why the change.
Amazfit makes great watches (had 2), but the GPS is terrible. The Venu 3 is my first Garmin. GPS wise is like going from a horse carriage to a Ferrari. Every device I had, even premium ones, have some nitpicks. Usually the more premium have less or less severe ones.
Hello, even I put the watch to sleep mode and I really sleep (usually one hour in the afternoon on weekends) the watch never records the nap. It happened only once and it was in my office and I actually just sit for a few minutes. So in my case the feature is useless.
