VENU2 Battery Replacement

Hello all, my venu2 battery went dead and Garmin said it does not support its replacement any longer, so i decided to replace it myself.

While am in the replacement process, what is the recommended glue to stick and re-seal the screen back to the main body?

    Battery replacement on the Venu 2 is doable but not user-friendly. Garmin doesn't sell official kits, and the glued battery is soldered to the board, so you need to desolder the tabs carefully to avoid damaging the flex or main PCB.

    Most people go to a local watch repair shop or use iFixit-style guides for similar Garmin models – expect 50-80 USD depending on location. If it's still under warranty or you have Garmin Care+, send it in first; they've replaced batteries for free in some cases even slightly out of warranty.

    Mine lasted about 3.5 years before dropping to 60% health, replaced last month and back to full day+ use. Worth it if you like the watch otherwise. Have you checked your battery health in the Garmin Connect app yet?

    above is my own venu2 (not some from internet) and i understand the process and have the skills to achieve the task am carrying.

    My question was about the type/which glue is best suitable to glue back the screen body to the main body so it gets re-sealed

    replying to my own questions and from some research seem B-7000 glue is what I'll be using

    I am curious, did you successfully manage to change the battery? Thank you for the details, they are invaluable! I have Venu 2 as well, soon will be in your shoes.

    got the B-7000 glue but still waiting the battery delivery from china.

    Requires skills but is not a that difficult of a job and do suggest anyone to do it. It's 10 Euros/Dollars battery....how good only time will tell.

    Splitting the screen from main body is just a bit of heat all around with a heat gun and with a blade you can open a gap and using a plastic tool you can easily split apart. from there, 4 little crews and 2 flat cables.
    OEM battery has some sticky tape in the back and you need a bit of heat and plastic tool to split, all easy jobs

    when i get the replacement battery i was intended to post with the hope it can help someone. might not be the super fancy watch but still works for what it has been designed for and is a shame just because a battery the all thing is usually set appart....i currently own a Fenix8 but my son is in line for the VENU2 Slight smile
