I have a 2 year old Venu 2. When using the Walking mode, my HR sensor does not work; it shows my HR in the zone 1 range or as no data, when really my HR is quite high, zone 4. However, when I stop the activity and immediately start a Bike activity, my heart rate monitor captures a more realistic zone 4 heart rate right away. I have tried a hard reset, that did not work. I have tried turning on and off the HR broadcast, that did not work. I have tried both tightening my watch band and moving my watch band, but neither worked. My software auto updates and shows the latest software version. So, I have been recording all of my walking as biking so that I can capture my HR, which is super annoying. I contacted customer support, they recommended I spend $150 on a replacement refurbished Venu 2 because I am outside the warranty period, but I am not satisfied with that option. I know there have been software issues with HRM for this watch in the past, I am wondering if anyone has had this similar issue and has found a fix? Has anyone tried downloading apps / widgets / data fields as a work around to the native app HRM issues, and if so, did any of them work? Thanks
