Took my Venu 2 off charge (100%) at 20:00 last night and this morning at 07:00 it is already 84%.
What is draining the battery so much during the night when I'm asleep?

I have had similar, or even worse, experiences with Venu 2 and version 19.05.
Yesterday evening my Venu 2 had about 40–50 % battery left. At morning the charge was below 10 % and then in about 30 minutes…

Same with me, have been waiting for an update for months, hoping that it would solve the issue. My average battery drain without GPS and without auto-start activity is 19% per day, where it used to be…
In the past few days I've noticed an incredibly fast battery drain. I started with 100% this morning and I'm down to 75% without recording any exercises. Yesterday it drained from 65% to 20% after using it for a 45 minute run. I've seen several old posts about this but none have a solution.
Hello,
Check for Background Apps: Sometimes, apps running in the background can consume a lot of battery. Go to your phone's settings and check which apps are using the most battery and consider restricting their background activity.
Adjust Screen Brightness: Lowering your screen brightness or using adaptive brightness can help save battery life.
Turn Off Unused Features: Disable features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS when you're not using them.
Update Software: Ensure your phone's software is up to date, as updates often include battery optimization improvements.
Battery Saver Mode: Enable battery saver mode to extend battery life by limiting background processes and visual effects.
Check Battery Health: If your phone is old, the battery might be degrading. You can check the battery health in your phone's settings or consider getting the battery replaced if it's significantly degraded.
Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try a factory reset to see if the issue is software-related. Make sure to back up your data before doing this.
If none of these steps work, it might be worth visiting a service center to get a professional diagnosis. Do you think any of these suggestions might help?
Same problem here on my Venu 2 directly after installing 19.05 it loses 30-40% a day, so 2.5 days and it’s dead now.

The same issue with my Garmin Venu2.
The support is dead.
Seems like they released 19.05 to destroyed our Venu2 to force us buy a new model. I am totally disappointed.
Garmin support, WHERE ARE YOU? Is that so hard to fix the battery drain issue during 7 months???
Hi, these seem like steps for a phone.
I apologize for this disruption. If you are experiencing this, please contact Garmin Support in your region. It is possible that your device will need to be exchanged, and exchanges cannot be initiated via the Forums
Thank you but the warranty has expired....
You can - and should - contact the Garmin Support anyway.
Garmin devices are expensive and of good quality. I had in the past good experiences with their support. Just ask them.
