I was out walking, no distance or speed was recorded but as you can see on the picture GPS is working because I got my path on the map. Anyone else experienced this and have a solution?

Just happened to me today. Only tracked 0.01km of 2k walk. Was there any help from Garmin after sharing your data?

Yes, the data share wasn't essential but basically what I learned is to wait about 30 seconds after the GPS connects before starting the activity. They stated that my watch (Venu 2) wasn't the "best option" for tracking running. It does seem it takes a very long time to connect to GPS the less I use it. So, after not running outside in the winter, I actually left my watch outside on "finding GPS" about 10 minutes before my run in order to allow it to connect. I find it odd as my very old Forerunner (less expensive) never had an issue connecting and staying connected.
thanks for the update! I'm using the Forerunner 55. I had the GPS searching, then was driving for 5mins, then outside for a few more minutes then walking and hit the start button. I didn't check if the GPS had synced as it usually takes less than a minute. Strange really - hopefully just a one-off.
Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. How can I resolve this? Second question: could the distance still be recovered from the traced map somehow? Thanks.
