Garmin Venue 2, the optical sensor won't turn on, so the Garmin isn't taking any measurements.

I bought a Garmin Venue 2 last week as a gift, and the optical sensor won't turn on, so the Garmin isn't taking any measurements. Anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

... no, it didn't work.. medium beat for about two minutes, the time to synchronize with the cell phone.. Then it stopped working.

Check that Wrist Heart Rate is not switched off in the Settings menu

Hello Peter. So I checked that by enabling or disabling the sensor doesn't turn on even though it's enabled in the menu. I tried resetting and going back to factory settings. also does not turn on the sensor

Hmmm. Perhaps contact Garmin support

Hello, Have you tried a hard reset? You'll want to press and hold the power button for 30-seconds or until the display is blank. Then use the same button to power it back on.

Hi Garmin-Inder I have exactly the same problem with my Venu 2. Tried Hard reset, which worked for only about a minute and then stopped measure again... Can anyone please help?
