Running pace lags on Venu 2 ? (SOLVED 13.09Beta)

I'm not sure this "feature" was introduced with a recent firmware update but I recently noticed that the running pace took a long time to "catch up" on my V2, say if I start my run at 5'/km it will show 12 than 11, 10, 8, etc...before reaching 5. Lap pace seems unaffected. Not a huge problem as it stabilizes after that but I can't say I'd noticed it before. Anyone else ?

PS - it seems to be a "software choice" and not a GPS problem because when I ride my bike the speed is immediately correct. It's likely some "fusing" they're doing with GPS+accelerometer to show a smoother running pace.

Indeed, so it is yet another problem created by an untested update!

I have the same issue - but I also see it at the beginning of run intervals after I stand still (auto pause is not enabled). Replaced the watch because I thought it's a watch issue, but after the SW update the new watch began to lag again.

So this has been largely solved with 13.09B, I say "largely" because the pace still lags a bit but instead of being 30 seconds it's now around 5/6 seconds.

I have the same problem with Software: 12.13. How am I supposed to run with Greg? I see the next training to be 20s sprints with speeds 5:17-5:29 min/km ... A joke with that accuracy.

So you know what you need to do if you want to fix this in the short term, if not you'll have to wait for a general update.

So 13.16 is out...it seems to supersede existing Beta versions so let's hope pace still works correctly ! Will find out in a couple of days ;-)
