Hydration randomly triggers "Goal reached" alert and changes the number of cups consumed

Hi,

Since the latest update, Hydration app randomly triggers "Goal reached" alerts and changes the number of cups consumed to a random number.

Already happened twice today.

No video of course because it's happening randomly.

I have the same issue. For a couple of days it seemed to be OK, then suddenly it appeared again.
It is just adding random values, multiples of 1000ml as far as I cant tell, between 1000-3000 ml at once.
I tried to narrow down some possible conditions leading to this and I can conclude:
    1. It is not related to hydration notification, or if you click checkmark or X.
    2. It is not related to the amounts you actually input.
    3. It is not related to having or not having recorded activities that may change the hydration daily target.
    4. It is not related to a specific time during the day, but as far as I can tell it never happened during the night for me.

  • Experiencing this as well. It's so random and the number of cups added is random too.

  • This happens every single day. I'll have say 4 or 5 cups entered, go to enter some more, and all of a sudden it decides I've had 100 cups today. It's always a random number that it jumps to and it happens everyday.

The amount of issues this hydration app has is ridiculous. Every update its something new and it somehow takes months for you guys to replicate the issue and solve it. And the following update will introduce a new problem.

It really shouldn't be advertised as a feature until you get it working.

  • This report has been resolved with Hydration Widget version 1.2.5 and Hydration App version 1.5.4.
Please ensure the versions are current to resolve the issue. If experiencing this issue on or after these versions, please start a new thread.
