Hydration randomly triggers "Goal reached" alert and changes the number of cups consumed

Hi,

Since the latest update, Hydration app randomly triggers "Goal reached" alerts and changes the number of cups consumed to a random number.

Already happened twice today.

No video of course because it's happening randomly.

    Same here for the Venu SQ!  I had put in 5 cups and then later on in the day it showed me “goal reached” and when I looked I was up to 12 cups that I had not input.  This is after the latest update this morning.

    Hello all.  Sorry to hear of this new report after the update to version 1.5.3.

    Could you please begin to take some videos in hopes of catching or reproducing this issue?  I would like to get this reported internally.  Additionally, please answer:

    1. May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
    2. May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?
    3. In what country do you live?

    If you do not have a Venu 2 or Venu 2s but are experiencing this issue, please start (or find) a post in your device's forum.

    It happens randomly, there's no way of capturing a video of this.

    Just happened again.

    Was on 3 cups. Received a goal reached alert. Opened the watch to see what's up and I see the count went up to 5.

    I saw that this same issue is reported on the forums of other models as well.

    I was able to get the photo/video from another user and submitted a report.  I have added you as an affected user on that report.  When we have any updates, I'll be sure to add to this thread.

    Venu 2S here, and for the past couple of days I'll sometimes open the hydration widget and it will add hundreds of cups of water.

    Yesterday it shot up to 688, today it went up to 217. (From like...10 or 12.) I hadn't even hit the plus button yet!

    same issue there, got both problems, today i put only one cup and after 1 hour i reached the goal ( got 3l per day and somehow it recorded 10l lol) i didnt even touch a watch, and last week when i woke up i had arould 90 liters (couple HUNDERTS of percent daily goal), app doenst work i think about uninstalling it because it is potintless to waste battery for something what works like it likes

    Starting from day one after the app update i observed the same on my Venu2, though it kind of did it in the first/second day only. Today went for a bike ride and was about 50% of my daily goal when the Venu2 said i got into my goal and added by itself the remain liquid portion.....pretty weird!

    I am having this issue too. I’ve entered 100ml today but watch updated itself an hour or so later and has recorded 6600ml! Yesterday I totalled 58000ml. It is very annoying nice deleted the app, restarted the watch, removed the widget from the watch…..nothing has resolved the issue. I’m very happy for Garmin to look into my account to see if they can resolve this for me.
