GPS interferes with the music (?)

Hey!

Ever since I bought the watch, I have had a problem with my wireless earbuds from the very beginning. When I pair them with my watch everything is fine, the watch detects the earbuds and plays music. The problem occurs when any activity that uses GPS starts. It sounds as if the GPS is interfering with the bluetooth signal and you cannot listen to music normally. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

Firmware version: 8.11
Earbuds: Sony WF-1000XM3

  • Having the same issue downloaded a playlist from Spotify to listen to offline music and my Samsung Galaxy Buds are unusable while running outside the sound is completely distorted but fine to use inside the house.

  • i have somewhat figured a sort of solution : if i switch the earbuds (i have samsung galay buds live) - i mean the left bud in the right ear and the right one in the left ear the issue is no more, because i wear the watch on the left hand ... so the connection is made from watch to the right earbud in my case.

other option is to wear the watch(fenix 7 in my case but i think this is not so relevant) on the right hand ... maybe is easyer this way

  • Using 965 and iPods I have the same issue Disappointed

  • i found out,  that by me (Venu 2 & Sony WF-SP800N) the interference last only 2-3 Minutes after the GPS Activity was started. then the music plays normally, without interruptions.
