Software Update 5.27

Hello,

Garmin Connect does not offer to update 5.27 ...
Is this normal?
I had made the update 5.18 is this related?

Hey Garmin-Kevin, do the CIQ faces need to be removed or is it sufficient to test by using a Garmin face for a few days for comparison? If you are not using the CIQ face it should not affect battery, right?

For best results, a full uninstall of the watch faces is recommended.

I'm running SW Ver 5.27 and when I try to sync over Wi-Fi I'm experiencing the following: Looking for Wi-Fi networks -> Transfer in Progress -> Transfer failed

When syncing over Bluetooth it works.

I tried power cycling the watch but the problem persists. Is this a problem with garmin servers or a sw problem?

I just tried a Wi-Fi sync and it worked fine

Same here.

Wifi synch working fine on 5.27 firmware.

Ya it sure does been having the same problem go to bed at 100% woke up with 73% missing my 10 days of battery life this is why I got rid of of my apple watch

Just a quick update, with regards to battery drain. I removed the Battery widget app from my watch, which was downloaded from the Connect IQ store and my Venu2's battery has returned to normal. This app will drain your battery!

Could you please share the connectIQ link to the app? It would help more people to know exactly which one you're talking about ;)

Not sure how to share the link from the IQ app, but the app is called 'Battery Widget with automatic charge detection, by dsapptech'.
