Venu 2 Display Turns Off/Freezes/Crashes After 4.67 SW Update

V 4.67.

I noticed such a thing. The clock turns off by itself when leaving the house in the morning. My sequential steps:
1) wake up
2) I have breakfast
3) I do the synchronization of the clock from the phone
4) take the elevator down
5) get in the car
6) the clock is off.

Seen on all firmwares, incl. and at the last 4.67. And this problem only in the morning - already 5 times this happened!
There is a suspicion of one thing that leads to the shutdown of the clock:
- Morning FORCED synchronization after sleep - occurs exactly after sleep, tk. a new day has begun and garmin connect somehow does not work out this synchronization correctly. If after sleep it is forced not to do synchronization, but just wait for the clock to automatically synchronize itself, then the clock does not turn off during the day!

There are a lot of problems here on the forum that the clock dies and does not turn back on. I think that this is the problem for everyone.

LIFE HACK HOW TO TURN ON THE WATCH BACK:
Hold the power button for 30 seconds, then release it, then hold it again and the clock will turn on.

  • Same getting both 030 wifi error and crashing in the morning.

  • Hi, could you please add me too, I also have this issue on my Venu 2s

  • It just happened to me this morning. Watch not responding (black screen), had to do a hard reset Disappointed. I'm on v4.67.

  • I also suffer from this bug. What works for me until we have a fix is to sync the watch at wake up and then power it off and turn back on. Since I started to do that procedure in the morning it hasn't crashed on me.

  • I have the same problem after updating. During the day the screen goes black and stops recording data.

  • I just had it happen to my not even 2 week old venu 2s.  Was able to restart it.  Watch seemed to still be looking for HR as the lights were still flashing but screen wouldn't turn on.  This happened after I set up emergency contacts.  It kind of seemed like it froze trying to push that update from my phone.  I disabled the emergency contacts and will see what happens.

  • Who have this problem until now, i recomendation this FIX. After this FIX i dont have this problem! Connect your VENU with PC!

Please sync with Garmin Express on your PC.

Besides connecting your device with our server through the Garmin Connect mobile app through Bluetooth connectivity, you can also use Garmin Express on your personal computer and sync your device through the charging cable (ANT+ stick required for vivofit series devices). Oftentimes the direct cable connection can help clear the sync queue if there is any sync failure with the Garmin Connect mobile app. This will also ensure all software updates are pushed through to the device as well. Lastly, the device gets into a resting state while in Mass Storage Mode and essentially soft reset while unplugged, which can reboot the sensors on the device.

  • Okay, but do you mean connect it to the PC everyday? What would be the routine to avoid crashes?
