Venu 2 dead

Hello

Went to start a walking activity and the watch switched off and now it won't switch on at all

Tried connecting to wall socket and computer but nothing works

Not impressed as i've only had the watch a few weeks

Plus you would expect that something that costs so much would perform better than this

  • This just happened to me a second time.  The first time it went dead, I managed to revive it by plugging it back into the charger and holding down both buttons until the blue triangle appeared.  Then, it worked fine for a week or so.  Today, it froze right after I took it off the charger.  The screen was frozen on the "!00%" with the correct time showing.  I tried button holds and the screen was still frozen.  Finally I plugged it into the charger again and held down both buttons.  Finally the blue triangle showed up and now the watch seems to be working again.
    Please, this is VERY serious.  We all need major help on this.  This is a major flaw, and my watch is 2 months old.  I don't know what you mean by reaching out to "local Garmin Support" as where I am, there is no such thing, just the support email address for Garmin.  I appreciate your post Amber-D, but what can we do about this?  More important, what can Garmin do about this?

    Start with the Garmin Support Center at https://support.garmin.com. There is support for every country. Going by your forum name, you must be in the US. I suggest using the chat or phone option for more immediate assistance.

    My local Garmin support advises me to remove all apps, widgets and watchfaces that I added afterwards…
