Many issues!

Hello, I am experiencing the following issues with my Venu 2S:

- freezing during activity. No activity records and I reset the watch to turn back on.

- no sleep data being recorded. This has occurred for the last three consecutive nights. I am doing nothing differently to what I have been when I set up the watch. I have synced my phone and ensured my watch is fitted correctly.

- stress not measuring. I’ve synced my phone and attempted to measure stress on numerous occasions to no avail.

- Spotify app music controls do not work. Uninstalled and reinstalled app twice. The volume is stuck on the loudest volume and is unusable. This is very frustrating as it’s one of the reasons I went with Garmin. 

I’ve also sent this to Garmin support.

Can anyone help with any tips? This is disappointing given the product is so expensive and has a good reputation. I’m really considering switching brands. The device should work as specified!

  • Just curious, have you downloaded any Connect IQ apps,data screens or watch faces? I had strange issues that ended up being one of those I downloaded from the store. Not sure the exact cuprit app, screen or watch face because i've been hesitant to load any back on my watch after factory resetting it as everything is just working now (with the exception of indoor walking speed/distance on a treadmill).

  • Ive installed one watch face when I was setting up the Garmin in early June (have had the watch since then). I did just think a software update happened last week (I think?) and these issues, with the exception of the Spotify issue, have been happening since then. So maybe it’s the update that is dodgy. I installed Spotify about three weeks ago and the volume issue has been since then (sigh). I’ll try uninstalling the watch face and see if that helps. Thank you!
