the paring between Venu 2 and my phone can not automate re-connection,
If put the watch far from phone and go back, it will need to be re pair again with new PIN request.
Just happen for 1 month
You need to go onto Garmin tech support chat and explain the problem. They will tell you they've never heard of the issue and ask which specific watch software and phone software you're using. Don't let it sit, demand a full documentation of the problem and upgrade it to engineering.
I think it's a hardware issue with the Venu and Fenix series watches and some phones (mainly Pixel phones). They really don't want to admit it or do anything about it.
the same thing has already happened to me twice in the S25 (regular). Unfortunately, a similar pairing of the device is required. it's annoying.
It’s promising to see the Venu 3 beta update resolving issues with Pixel phones. Hopefully, the Venu 2 Plus gets a similar fix soon to bring the same smooth flavour of performance to all users.
After a lot of back and forth with tech support it seems like the issue is rooted in the Pixel Bluetooth system. I signed up for the Pixel beta program and got Android 16 Beta 3 on my Pixel 7a. Since then I haven't had a single disconnect that hasn't repaired itself. The relief is tangible. So far running the beta firmware hasn't been negative in any way.
Until day - 19/04/2025 - I tested with iPhone and android, the same situation, nothing change. I think my Venu 2 bluetooth chip is broken, the problem is from hardward of Venu 2

why do you think your bt chip is broken? If it was, you would rather not connect at all. No communication with phones of any kind. And this is not the thread. The thread is about the failure to automatically renew the BT connection after the connection is lost, where the app or watch is unable to reconnect even though their BT is turned on and the physical connection capability is met.
I mean it is not totally broken, sometime the chip is active, sometime the chip automative turn off. In my case, bluetooth from Venu 2 is not stable. Sometime, the phone and venu 2 is on the table, the distance don't change, the connect suddently is lost.
If you only have a valid warranty, don't hesitate for a moment, and have your watch repaired / replaced. sounds like a hardware problem. I keep my fingers crossed.
