....At what point in the instructions does it fail?
When I select Garmin DEvices there is no "finish set up" or "Setup ECG" option
Also, I am in Canada but the ECG does works fine, even though the website does not list Canada
more info. I have replaced my Samsung phone with new S24 samsung phone and did a new re intall of Garmin connect on the new phone. I havebt used the ECG since the new phone

I am in Canada but the ECG worked for 2 years on this watch. I have test results back to Jan 2023 from this watch
Region availability
The ECG app is available in select regions, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, and more. You can check the Garmin ECG App Region Compatibility page for a list of regions where the app is available.
Not sure where you got that. But here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=QssFZHtIOfAYNSSmzXNwY9 It is not available. You must have previously enabled it by using the hack.
