answering phone call on watch audio is automatically transferred to iPhone

 recently purchased the Venu 2 Plus watch. I have been having issues with the phone call features.  I have an iPhone with current update to date software. The watch software is 14.10.  When a phone call comes in, or I make a call from the watch the call is automatically transferred to the phone. The call will not stay on the watch.  I can answer the call and hear and talk to the person, but within a few seconds the call transfers to the phone.  I have looked over the Garmin forums and have read other people with similar issues  however, I do not see a resolution to this issue. Unfortunately, as of now the phone call feature of the watch is unusable., which is one of the main reasons I purchased the watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
