When making or receiving calls on venu 2 plus, the call rerouts to iphone

When I have a call from the watch and while talking the calls ends on watch screen but the call is still actve on phone. It's like losing conectivity. Generally no bluetooth connectivity problems except while on call. I have tried everything (restarting devices, reconnection, unpairing/pairing, updating) but the issue is still there. I bought the watch 2 days ago and I' m extremely unhappy because calls are the main reason I bought it. My phone is iphone X. 

  • I have the 12.13 software version on my watch and I recently noticed that when I pick up a call on my phone it is automatically moved to my phone so I am not able to use my watch for the call. It is really annoying especially when my phone is not even near me. Could you help me please?

    Hello, Has this issue been resolved? I am having the same issues, I have an iPhpne and if I answer a call on  my watch within a few seconds the call transfers audio to my phone.  Its makes the phone call feature of the watch not usable.  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

  • I had this issue and wrote that comment when I had the iphoneX. Since I bought the iPhone 14pro max I have no issue during calls. So I guess it was due to the old version of bt technology of X

  • I have been having the same issue with a Samsung Galaxy s22, so it is not just iphones. I will receive a call and answer it on my watch but after a minute or two the watch vibrates and tells me the call has been transferred. I then have to continue the call on my phone. REALLY annoying and kind of defeats the purpose of one of the watches main features. And if any Garmin admin wants to look into this in response to your questions the answers are: 1. yes 2. yes and 3. I am currently residing in Canada.

  • Hi All, I am very new to Garmin Venu 2 plus ( bought it a week back ) . When I am getting call, and answering via watch , after few seconds, audio is switching to phone or my Bluetooth headset by showing ‘ call audio transferred’ and watch continue to jerk frequently. Am I missing some setting here ? I am using iPhone XS iOS 17, on watch its SW15.20 , and connect app 4.71 . Searched the forum and here as well, but no answers found yet. Your help is highly appreciated.
