No weather information

Greetings. 

Since last Garmin connect update I lost the weather info on my watch

Already rebooted phone and watch, changed weather location and the problem persists. 

The phone is a huawei P30 Pro. 

Before de update the weather was showing correctly. 

How to fix this?

  • Happened for me again. The weather-widget from Garmin has no information and my custom watchface, also.

    Restarted Phone and Watch with no change.

    I´m running every two days, so GPS should be fine.

    Didn´t changed the phone or any App-privileges. Any rights to the Connect Mobile App were set, nothing declined.
    Phone is still a Google Pixel 6, but now with Android 13.

  • - Please try these steps:

    • Open the Garmin Connect app.

    • Select the three lines (top left).

    • Select Settings.

    • Select Phone Permissions.

    • Select Manage Permissions.

    • Select Permissions.

    • Select Location.

    • Select Allow all the time.

      • If "Allow all the time" is not an available option, toggle Location On.

    • Power your Android phone off and back on.

    • Power your Garmin device off and back on. 

    • Open the Garmin Connect app.

    • Sync your device.

  • As I wrote, all the permissions were already set. Location is set to "Allways" since I got this phone.
    And the weather worked in the past. Then stopped for several weeks and then somehow "repaired" itself.

    Now, I´vent changed anything, it stopped working after several weeks, again.
    Restarting did not work in the past, but now I restarted the phone first, the watch second and now it works again!

    We will see how long ;)

    So it really seems to be important, in which order the devices were restarted.

  • Hi, I am having the same problem.  Venu 2 plus bought in November of 2022 now all of sudden the past week no weather data.  I should have to keep restarting my watch and phone.  Should garmin come out with a fix for this?
