No weather information

Greetings.

Since last Garmin connect update I lost the weather info on my watch

Already rebooted phone and watch, changed weather location and the problem persists.

The phone is a huawei P30 Pro.

Before de update the weather was showing correctly.

How to fix this?

Yesterday I've updated the Garmin App on my mobile phone and the weather information showed again in the watch.

Got the same behavior!

The garmin weather widged shows - - °
Using a watchface, which also uses the weather information from garmin, states "no data".

Phone is a Pixel 6.

Nuromen- I'm sorry to hear that you lost your weather reading! Please try these steps:

Bring up an outdoor activity and briefly step outdoors to acquire GPS signal. After the screen says "Ready", you can go back to your watchface to see if it gives a temperature.
For Apple phones, make sure the Garmin Connect app is open and/or running in the background. The app can be minimized but, it must remain open in the background to receive weather information.
Confirm that the Location permissions for Garmin Connect are set properly.

Did the outdoor activity, GPS was acquired. App location permitions are OK.

Still no weather data on watch

Do you see "--" for weather? Are you using a watchface from Connect IQ, or a default watchface? Please test out a short activity with GPS acquired. If you look into that activity from your Connect account, do you see what the weather was? This would be displayed on the picture of your GPS screen.

As I said, I did a short outdoor activitie with GPS on.

Connect app shows the map of the activity with a wester icon, it was 19 c

Does not matter what watchface I use because the weather widget on watch do not show any weather

It does matter if you have a watchface downloaded from Connect IQ, because a 3rd party developer may have specific requirements to allow weather to show. I am going to reach out to you individually so we can look further into this.

Please note that the weather widget in the watch do not show any info, and the Garmin weather widget is not related with 3 party watchfaces.

I changed weather in Garmin connect from fixed location to mobile weather.

Force closed app, open and changed back to fixed location.

Rebooted phone.

Rebooted watch

Weather widget is working again.

(for some reason, I had rebooted watch before and it didn't had worked at the time)
