7.4 - Can't change brightness

The brightness on my Venu 2 Plus is really dim and I can't change it. Auto-brightness is turned off but changing the brightness setting doesn't do anything at all.

Unfortunately it seems that this is a bug. In fact I just created an hour ago a new thread with the same problem...

Try rebooting the device by holding the upper button for 20 seconds (or until it turns off) and see if that helps. I was seeing something similar and this fixed it for me. Sounds like it didn't help Noboru so YMMV.

So just how dim is it? Is it visible in low light, and just not bright light?
