Connect IQ not connected Venu 2 plus

Is there a known issue (or are others experiencing) connect IQ says not connected even though the Venu 2 plus is connected (and syncing) on Garmin Connect?

i have re-paired Bluetooth, re-installed apps and reset the Venu 2 plus; yet issue remains

  • Same issue here. Btw, under My Device, (menu), Select a Device I see both my new Venu 2+ and my original Venu (both not connected). I wanted to try removing the Venu to see if it helps. Probably wouldn’t but I don’t see a way to do that in any case.

Later… I deleted the old Venu via the Connect web site. Going back to the CIQ app on my iPhone it didn’t reflect this change until I deleted and reinstalled the CIQ app.  But no joy, CIQ still does not connect to the V2+.

  • Using Garmin Express works, but editing PhoenixV2 crashes the program. Thankfully my favorite watchface became available yesterday, and adjusting it did not crash.

  • Hi guys, I sent Garmin an email and they answered: "Sorry you are experiencing this issue. This has been reported and we are working on a fix"

I opened an engineering ticket with all the details and I will be reported as soon as a fix is found...

  • +1

Received watch today , but getting the same error here. Thanks for opening an engineering ticket, Chispito.

I'll report it as well, here's hoping for a quick fix.

  • Well, new update for the IQ app and it’s now working! That was quick!!

  • I am on IOS 15.3. If you uninstall connect IQ from the iphone when I go into appearance and then watch faces and then click settings I get the splash screen saying to download Connect IQ. If I click No Thanks, I am able to edit through the Garmin Connect app directly. Not a perfect solution but at least I don't have to go through a web browser to make edits. Still do though if I want to download anything new.

  • Thanks this works nicely - although workaround, I am also on IOS 15.3.

IF I use the Connect IQ App the Venu2 does not appear although it is connected to the phone and synchronizes nicely

It obviously needs an update of the Connect IQ App to resolve this - this is disappointing.

  • Same issue here. Venu 2 plus, latest software installed. Tried re pairing and everything. Won’t connect.
