Is there a known issue (or are others experiencing) connect IQ says not connected even though the Venu 2 plus is connected (and syncing) on Garmin Connect?
i have re-paired Bluetooth, re-installed apps and reset the Venu 2 plus; yet issue remains

Hi guys, I sent Garmin an email and they answered: "Sorry you are experiencing this issue. This has been reported and we are working on a fix"
I opened an engineering ticket with all the details…
Sorry typo. Have not found any solution. But tried same things as you
I'm on ios 15.2 and having this issue so it may be ios only issue
I have the same issue but have but have not found a solution
What is your solution?

***Update***
While the ConnectIQ app does not work - you can use the Garmin Express app (Windows or Mac only) to download content, customize and sync.

Well then it is probably a software bug. Thank you for responding as it will save me from troubleshooting further.
I had high hopes for the device, but my experience so far is “meh”. Considering the watch is based on the Venu 2, I thought it would be less buggy. Sometimes it is fast and works as predicted and then without cause it lags briefly. I returned an Apple Watch series 7 for the V2+ primarily for better battery life and the ability to have AMRAP strength training sessions. Given the user experience so far I’m not completely sold on the Garmin.
The Connect IQ app works fine for me on my Android phone. You say "re-paired Bluetooth" so just wanted to highlight that you shouldn't be pairing the watch to the phone via the Bluetooth settings menu on the phone. You should only pair it within Garmin Connect.

Yes I re-paired the Bluetooth connection via the app.
Just returned it. At this price point I expect more. My Garmin Instinct Solar performs better minus the ability for HIIT workouts (e.g. AMRAP, EMOM, etc).
There are forums for both the Connect IQ app on Android and iOS. You probably want to report it there.
Here's the one for Android, but there's one for iOS at the same level
