Body battery and stress

Body battery stuck at 5 with high stress. I notice this issue occured with previous watches. New watch, but is this a likely software bug? Will let battery go to zero since that is the only obvious way to turn off and on.

  • Hi Amber my girlfriend also having issue with body battery on her Lily. Been using it 7 days now and it stuck at 5.

  • Hi there! I will need to get her email or SN so I can communicate with her!

  • My wife has the same problem with her new Lily. Been using it for over a week now. On the first day body battery reached 65, then two days later she got a peak of 60, but since then it's been stuck on 5 for every day. Serial number is 6SL00xxxx.

  • I've had this same issue, chronic low body battery with the vivosmart and now the Lily. I installed an app called Welltory that gives detailed info about your HRV. Turns out I really am ridiculously stressed, and probably have been for years. The app gives really great recommendations on how to destress and encourages you to try different things and take readings before and after to figure out what works to get your systems back in sync. I've had it a week and my body battery has been up to 45-50 a couple times already.  Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't make it's HRV measurements available to third party developers, so you do have to use your phone's camera and flash to take readings. Apple shares HRV data from the Apple watch. Seems like Garmin is missing out on a big opportunity.

  • I am also having this issue but intermittently... Some night I'll sleep with it all night and my body battery doesn't change at all... Sometimes it does Shrug tone3‍♀️ I'd like to know if anyone figured out why it's happening and how to fix it?

  • If Garmin reported more detail about your HRV you'd get a better picture of why it's changing or not, and why it's low.  It's not likely a hardware or software problem.  Honestly, "body battery" is an incredibly useless measurement.

  • Hello - I'm having the exact same. Issue and it's very frustrating. I got my Lilly on 4.20 and it's been stuck at 5 body battery since yesterday afternoon. No recharge overnight or even when mi stress level shows low. Any help is appreciated.

  • I'm on my 2nd Lily (returned the 1st one) and I'm still having low body battery even after a great nights sleep. The battery on the watch itself also drains quickly, within 24 hours I have 20% battery life. The GPS is way off as well. I'm very disappointed and considering going back to my FitBit which seemed more accurate.
