Body battery and stress

Body battery stuck at 5 with high stress. I notice this issue occured with previous watches. New watch, but is this a likely software bug? Will let battery go to zero since that is the only obvious way to turn off and on.

  • Hello! This has been reported to our engineers and I have you guys added to our case. As soon as I get an update I will reach back out to you. Thank you all for your patience while we work through this.

  • Anyone with a body battery stuck on a 5, have you worn the device for a minimum of a week yet?

  • For me it’s a no, it happened already on the second day after I got it.

  • How long have you worn your device for so far?

  • Since last Friday afternoon (Feb 5th) and on Sunday morning the Body Battery and the Stress Level got stuck.

We need you to wear the device a full 7 days to have it adjust to your body. If it is stills stuck we can go from there.

  • This is happening for me as well.  Constant high-stress readings, body battery stuck at 5.  Worn just over 1 week.  Factory reset fixed but only for a day.  I made another post about this before I saw this one, my apologies.

  • I have the same problem. Have Lily since last Friday. First 2 days were confirming old watch (Garmin Vivomove HR) and then all of a sudden I continue have a high level of stress continuesly, also during sleep. Body Battery sticks at 5. Don´t know how to solve this.
This is disappointing. I was very happy with Lily, but the way it is now it's frustrating instead of being reassuring.

  • Lily purchased 3 weeks ago - body battery reduced to 5 by end of day 2 - reset a couple of times and the body battery shoots up to 60 but then plummets down to 5 by end of day - changed to Fenix for 5dys and it worked perfectly ie. body battery started to charge up during rest periods and at night when i was in deep and light sleep - called Garmin, advised to wear for full 7dys before resetting - am on day6 and body battery has NOT shifted from 5, sleep shows high stress for the whole nite - this is an awful watch, clearly has a bug and the software update 3.20 has NOT fixed the problem - it will be going back to Garmin for a full refund - it is basically an overpriced clock!

  • This clearly isn't an issue with not having worn the device for a week or more, this is one of numerous threads on this topic.

I've also had this issue straight away after getting this watch and am very disappointed to find such a huge backlog of reports of this issue with no fix provided so far by Garmin. I will stick it out for this magical week as requested, but I'm very much feeling like I will be returning and demanding a full refund as well at this stage because the watch is not performing as advertised.
