New Health Status feature

Will the sleep index generate the info for this or do I need to wear my Fenix 8 for it to populate?

  •  Do you have any insight on why PulseOx and Skin Temp is not reporting in the Health Status feature?  Currently, neither of these data fields are being reported in Health Status, even though I am wearing my ISM nightly.

The Skin Temp field just shows a - , while the PulseOx just says 'calculating'.

    Thank you.

  • Following this thread with interest.

I have a Fenix F8 Pro (Daytime) and the sleep Index Monitor (Sleep) and I’m a little disappointed that one flagship device and a new dedicated sleep tracking device from Garmin don’t ’join the dots’ and populate the Health Status Feature, especially given they both use the same sensor technology (I believe).

  • Its annoying for sure. My data still hasn't populated

  •  My health status has updated this morning. Never worn the F8P to sleep and turn it off at night, and use the Sleep Index Monitor for sleep tracking.

Also had an email (with dead link) promoting it

It’s still showing as Beta however (I’m not on beta program)

  • Did skin temp and pulse ox update for you  ?

  • It did. All metrics available on the Health Status have updated for me.

Data appears only to have been recorded (or at least visible) from 17th Nov onwards.

Both devices are showing as being on the current firmware’s etc. and Connect app is v5.19.1.2

  • This is great news, maybe they finally fixed it . Mine still has skin temp and pulse ox blank .

  • Looks like whatever update was most recently pushed out - either to the ISM or to GC - fixed the issue.  PulesOx and skin temp is now recorded.  Thanks Garmin for getting everything figured out.

  • i can also confirm PulseOX is now part of Health Status (I have never had a problem with skin temp) The only missing thing is that PulseOX data are not displayed/transferred to watch widget

  •  Please make sure the Index Sleep Monitor is up to date on version 3.82. If this concern is not resolved with the update, please create a new thread.
