Will the sleep index generate the info for this or do I need to wear my Fenix 8 for it to populate?
Will the sleep index generate the info for this or do I need to wear my Fenix 8 for it to populate?
Hello!
My Apologies, I read a document incorrectly.
The support for the Health Status feature is not compatible with the Index Sleep Monitor as of yet. The Venu 4 is the only device that is currently compatible…
It is so ridiculous that the ISM data doesn’t populate this new health status info since it is the same gen 5 monitor and collects all the same data as the watch. Come on Garmin.
Thanks nicorellius. That makes sense. I think it is a bug because if I wear my Forerunner 265 I will get health data. The ISM though reports no data. As the feature is still in beta I hope Garmin addresses…
i was able to update to the latest firm and it looks like the ISM is now syncing with the Health Status feature. Looks like I will have to wait three or four weeks for the full report.
Health Status menu is not available/visible for me in GCM. I do have latest firmware (3.82) on my ISM and two nights of sleep with this firmware version. Is Health Status still beta or not available/visible for everybody with ISM with 3.82?
Versions:
GC: 5.19
ISM: 3.82
Fenix 7 Pro: 23.18
And last night, I got my first Health Status. This is despite yesterday GC showing calibration in progress and that I had to wait 3-4 weeks. Perhaps because both devices have been collecting the exact data needed for many weeks already?
Should be available for everyone. Mine is found under more (the three dots) > Health Stats > Health Status
Question about the fields that get populated. This morning I checked my Health Status and the following items were populated:
But there was no data for:
I find this odd though as both of those items are captured by the ISM. Are the above two items not captured because the feature is still in beta?
Thank you.
Skin temp is visible for me but i do also miss PulseOx
Curious. Skin temp was shown as a dash today in the Health Status report. PulseOx was shown was "calibrating".
PulseOX shows calibrating after i enabled to monitor PulseOx during night in Garmin Connect app. I don’t think this will really do anything. I have never seen PulseOx data recorded by ISM to be displayed back on my watch. I have a feeling ISM doesn’t transfer PulseOx to watch at all and this might be needed for Health Status
Mine is the same using ISM , wonder if we have to use a watch to get this data.
Hopefully once the Health Status comes out of Beta, the ISM will support it. It’s difficult to sleep with a watch for some of us or hard to justify buying a device to test this feature. Eagerly waiting, Garmin!!!
