Index S2 Scale does not display any metrics except weight, BMI for additional users

I bought an Index S2 scale a few months ago, and it shows all the measurements for me, but as I added an additional user it shows only weight and BMI. We do everything according the user manual.

I got my brand new Index S2 scale yesterday. It works fine for me but my wife only gets weight and bmi. Just like everybody has reported here. Why has Garmin not resolved this after so much time?!

I'm also the second user and I had the same issue. 6 months later I solved the issue by inputting my birth date into Garmin Connect and updated initials/username.
First weighting showed old results…

Add me to the list of annoyed users who can’t get shared users to see anything more than weight and bmi. My old lady has started using our old dummy scale again, since the index also struggles to wake…

I think you are getting more functionality than most. Mine won't do body fat at all. and really never has, bar once in maybe 60 gos.

I have this issue as well. I get full stats while the scale only shows weight for my wife. Would love to hear an update back from Garmin as responses on similar threads are 10+ months old.

Same here!

Shows everything for the user that does the pairing but only Weight and weather for the additional user.

Reset It and does again the pairing switching the user..nothing same problem

I think I'm going to return It...

Garmin Connect will only show weight and BMI if it is syncing with MyFitnessPal. Go into settings in Garmin Connect, click on connected apps and disconnect MyFitnessPal. The next time you sync a weight the other metrics will show up. Guest users have to do the same.

Thanks for the reply but in my case the additional user doesn’t even have MyFitnessPal app…

I had the same issue, but I did not add a new user.

Try replacing the batteries (preferably non-rechargeable). While checking the batteries, look for any white corrosion on the scales metal pieces that touch the batteries' ends.

If there is corrosion on the metal, use a wet lens wipe for glasses to clean the metal pieces.
