Body Fat % on Index S2 Smart Scale Seems Inaccurate part2

No it's not, measuring just though the legs was never that accurate, you still get to see a up or down trend. Calibrating it just makes it better to compare and get good data for other calculations like fitness age.

I already thought that I will export, adjust and reimport my older values. Or just be lazy and leave the miraculous fat loss.

Update procedure works, I still have those Maxwell battery's from the video in there...seems to be a power efficient scale...

Got to make an appointment do get a good fat scan, they don't do that x-ray method in Germany.

I wonder if it's better to enter the values from my tanita from today and let the index 2 adjusts the BF or trying to reset the body composition and enter the values from tanita and go on.

I think we should keep in mind that the scale needs to receive the data first. We enter it in the Garmin Web Interface now, the scale does not know about it, we do a weight-in next day, scale still does not know about it, just does it's (poor) job and after that connects, sends the newest weight data and receives the calibration data, so at best it can adjust after that.

Ok - I added my last dexa and now it matches my Tanita and Dexa reading. I'll take it. 

Tanita is as accurate as a DEXA?

I haven't done a dexa in a while but know how it compares to the tanita ironman which is pretty darn close. The tanita takes readings from both the feet and hands and has always gotten me the most accurate readings of any scale. 

Damn they are expensive :(
