After today's reading, and the regular sync activity via WiFi, I noted an X on the display. The data synced just fine to Garmin Connect. I could not find reference in the manual. Has anyone else experienced this, or have an idea of its meaning?

Hello all,
We have other reports of this and are actively investigating. When we know more or have any updates to share, I'll be posting to this thread. Thank you in advance for your patience with…
Hello All. This error is an indication of a sync failure. We are tracking this and I would like to add you to a case. seilogramp and jlgranth do I have permission to add you to this case?
Thanks in advance…
I see this error as well but syncs to connect just fine.
Out of curiosity, I ran a few tests. Disabling Wi-Fi on my home router and turning off Bluetooth on my phone produced the "X" after the test. My guess is that your phone was out of Bluetooth range and your Index BPM was out of Wi-Fi range and the after a pre-set amount of time, the device gave up. But then synced later.
That's certainly what I see. But if a connectivity problem were to blame, I wouldn't expect to see the reading successfully recorded in GCM or Garmin Connect Web immediately after.
Then I guess it connected immediately after you saw the X. The only way I saw the X was if both BT and wi-fi were unavailable when the BP reading was complete.
I had this "X" appear on my display this morning after today's reading.. My results were instantly available in Garmin Connect Mobile, so I'm not sure what went wrong during the sync. I forced a manual WiFi sync on the BPM, but got the same "X' result.
