Bounce not working in New Zealand

The Bounce we bought is not working on LTE network in New Zealand. After a bit of googling it looks like is not supported/blocked and Garmin is well aware of this. So why is it still sold through Garmin official NZ website and wasting people time?

Also what is the process to get a refund for the watch and subscription? Thanks.

  • Yeah, the LTE features on Garmin Bounce aren't supported in New Zealand due to no compatible network partners yet. That's why it won't connect properly, even though they sell it locally. Contact Garmin support directly for a refund on the watch and subscription—they're usually good about it in these cases.

  • Hi, New Zealand is included for LTE coverage on both Bounce and Bounce 2. Can you explain the issue that you are seeing with the LTE?

  • hi there, thanks for the replay. The watch is not connecting to the LTE network once it leaves the house wifi (or a paired phone). The bar showing the network seems to have a bar across. So no tracking, no messages, not doing what we bought it for. I have read of the same problem on multiple occasion on this forum and other forums.

    Perhaps a map coverage of the where it works it would be helpful. We are in one of the major city of the South Island and have good cell phone coverage on different network at home.
