I bought the watch from Garmin website and I can only use Live Tracking when my phone nears the watch. I have LTE subscription and the main reason for me to get this watch is the Live Track feature.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing strange behavior with Live Tracking on a Garmin Bounce device. At this point it would advantageous to reach out to support directly at Garmin Support
On our 3rd Bounce watch after the first one stopped working. LTE worked fine for a while. BUT the 2nd and 3rd watch gets no LTE signal at all and now we are told from Garmin:
Local Legislation in NZ blocks text messages with hyperlinks from being received in a effort to prevent fraud and cyber crime. Unfortunately this also means the communication from your Garmin Bounce is being blocked as the message includes a hyperlink.
This legislation does not cover messages being sent via Bluetooth or WIFI hence why the messages are being received once connected to Bluetooth or WIFI network.
real shame
We also cannot get any signal from the LTE satellite feature on our kids Bounce watch any more. The first watch was fine until it stopped turning on so was replaced by garmin but our next 2 don’t work at all. We now get this from customer support:

makes no sense given the LTE messaging worked fine until a month ago unless NZ law has changed since? I can’t find any information online to support this

We are having the same issue. First Bounce got returned after a month of trying to get it sorted with Garmin (although we still haven't received a refund) and we bought a second one once they agreed to a refund because we assumed it was a one off faulty watch but we are having the same issue where it just won't connect with the LTE at all. There is a line through the signal symbol and we have no functionality of messages or tracking, essentially it's just a basic watch and step counter. It's been a very frustrating process dealing with Garmin, not responding to us and taking an hour on hold to even get through to speak to someone each time.

Now to see that this is the response from Garmin to you that it is a known issue I don't understand how they aren't breaking the law with marketing and selling this watch as if it will work with the LTE subscription. Surely that is false advertising.
