520 Compatibility

For the 520 and the 1000 you have the information on the screen they dont need to use the head unit

For the Edge 520 and the Edge 1000 they don't need to use the head unit, you have the informations on the screen

I do note that the link provided in the last post only references the 1000. I was under the impression the 520 was going to do it as well, so I ordered one... I should've looked for the fine print.
Anyway, hopefully it all works.

I notice that only the 1000 is listed now but Garmin originally said 510, 25, Touring Plus & 810 would all get it.

Any updates of 520 - Varia compatibility? I just received both units today and would like to try out the Varia. Did not order the Varia w/ head unit option.

520 compatibility? on web page says it works with 1000 and 520 but with my 520 not match. (Compatible with Edge 1000, 810, 520, 510 and 25. Software updates will be needed)

The Varia update for the 520 has not been released yet.

Is there still going to be an update for the 810? I get the impression that Garmin may have changed their mind.
