Varia UT800 Can be charged when is on

Hello all,

would be possible to charge the Varia UT800 when it is on with a powerbank or similar? I used to ride long dinstances so would be nice for me

Is there a reason that the RTL 510 can be charged on the fly, with a power bank, but not the UT 800? Why have that enabled on one but not the other?

Yes, there is a separate circuit that allows that that must be a part of the design. It's not a programming issue that can be üpdated"
