Anyone tried Varia Vision for Running?

Always feel an AR display of my running metric in real time would be better than having to look down at my watch constantly.

I'm not a cyclist and I noted this device is only marketed for cycling, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it for running. I guess there might be more head motion which could make the display move a lot and get out of focus, but not sure. Looks like it will pair with my new Forerunner 935 as well.
  • I'm running with the Stryd Pod and using Varia Vision but so far I have no idea how to configure, if possible, the data fields for the Varia Vision and to include the Stryd power value.

I suspect, that varia vision won't show IQ data fields, and stryd power data fields are IQ data fields.
  • Yeah, the IQ fields remain empty
  • After almost 6 weeks I got an answer from Garmin. They promised to contact me via telephone yesterday.Guess what happened....nothing????
  • Got at last contacted by Garmin support.
IQ datafilds are not supported by the Varia Vision.Support suggested to try Running Power from Garmin(IQ connect),but also in this case no Wattage is shown on the Varia Vision.
Furthermore if you activate automatic switching of datafields on the Forerunner it wont switch on the Varia Vision automatically as well.
It also seems not probable that this will be improved upon by updates.Very sad because the Varia Vision is very expensive.
