Restarting during ride

My daily problem is that when recording activity, the device constantly restarts, navigation is off, I don't touch the device, it just restarts... sometimes after every 10-12km, for example on a 170km trip it restarted 13 times

VERSION 6.06, does anyone have a similar problem?

The device is new directly from Garmin, I have it only 20 days and I am struggling with this problem, ah my problems with Garmin will probably never end...

Lots of people have recommended Garmin to me saying: stable, quality and long lasting device...

I first purchased a Garmin Fenix 8, after 4 months the watch was restarting with the flashlight on, so the complaint department, it took a lot of time explaining since they just wiped and updated the device ahh

Garmin Varia out of the box couldn't even just turn on completely non-functional, again the complaint department

I don't know what to do, every Garmin device is faulty and waiting for 30 days to process a claim during the summer season is unacceptable ahhhhhhh

    Update as of August 27
    Over the past five rides, the EDGE MTB has been mostly reliable. I did not press stop and resume.
    Notable observations:
    • IQ Connect fields on the EDGE only seem to update or “confirm” after switching to another data page and then returning.
    • When IQ Connect data fields are modified during an activity, the updates appear delayed or sluggish.
    • During today’s test, I changed a data field in the final third of my 12 km commute and then resumed the paused ride. This caused a crash and forced a device restart.
    I hope the device will soon become fully usable again. I own a Fenix 8, Edge 840, and Edge 1040—but I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior before. The current state of the EDGE MTB is very limited and far from what the marketing promises.

    Last Week:
    Since updating to the 28.20 Beta version, my EDGE MTB has experienced unexpected restarts during activities, which interrupt and stop recordings.
    Details:
    • When the issue occurs, the map screen disappears and no navigation is active.
    • Connected IQ data fields in use:
    • Moxy1
    • Moxy2
    • HRV DFa1
    • No additional navigation or routing is enabled.
    • Maximum runtime under heavy use (without map or navigation): approx. 10 hours.
    I’m willing to provide access to my data and logs. Garmin Support/QA may contact me via email.
    The previous beta version appeared more stable and did not show this behavior.
    Additional Notes:
    • The issue is reproducible, even during simple rides.
    • Please let me know if you require activity files, diagnostics, or further details.
    • I grant permission to access my Garmin Connect and device logs for troubleshooting.

    This device is f... freakshow...

    After update on 28.20 yesterday it restarts 6x on 20 kilometers and lost 5 kilometers of the recorded tracking...

    Today no issues.

    Only difference: First day fully loaded and second day 70%

    Experiencing similar. Before update it worked perfectly. After update, it restarts 2 or 3 times per ride

    My 28.20 EDGE MTB crashed every 6 km or so on my ride yesterday. I hope the problem will be fixed soon.
