Garmin have problem with controlling lights for months now, no difference if it's Bontrager or their own Varia, or Explore vs high end 1050, no one in Garmin cares because according to the support "it's not a widespread issue" or "call Bontrager, we care only about Varia (but not enough to fix it)".
What a shame
Same for me with Varia RTL515. Even after factory reset, repairing and everything, the Varia connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects, ... in an endless loop eversince the latest update. Baiscally my Varia is useless now. Just great.
L garmin. Forget third party lights, they better be working on a software update that at the very least fixes connection issues between two of their own supported products.
If your Trek bike light is disconnecting and reconnecting to your Edge Explore 2, please reach out to Trek Support for assistance with this concern. They should be able to provide additional troubleshooting.
I also have the same issue. And it started with one of latest Edge firmware update. Why do you think that problem is with Trek lights ?
Because you can't prove otherwise.
