pairing with sram axs

I just bought a new bike equipped with sram rival axs.

I bought a garmin edge explore 2 in Q1 2023 for my mountain bike and love it

But, what!!!!!! edge explore 2 is not compatible with sram :( you pay 300 and no connectivity with a major component.

Garmin, do something with a firmware update or you will lost a customer....

Maybe, it's time to look at the competitor

At the same price

Elemnt Bolt V2 has the Shimano Dura Ace Di2, SRAM eTAP, FSA WE, et Campagnolo EPS connectivity
Bryton S500 has Di2 / eTap / EPS / K-FORCE WE (FSA) connectivity and more

But it probably requires electronic shifting connectivity in the first place.

Several months ago there was a compatible data field, but some how it was removed from the ConnectIQ store.

To my understaning, connectivity to wireless groupsets is not supported for SRAM (beacuse of their ownership of Hammerhead), or for Shimano Di2 (you have to pony-up for the other devices in Garmin range). Not sure if anyone got around it in EE2, probably not.

Same situation for me. I have bought a new bike with axs but no way to have Explore 2 to see it

I'm in the same boat .

I purchased the explore 2 last year , it was everything i needed in a GPS .

Recently purchased new bike with SRAM Rivall AXS groupset , to my dismay this Garmin model doesn't synch with groupset . I didn't know about that feature or the lacking of it when i was looking for GPS .

Garmin Edge explore 2 has ANT+ and Bluetooth compatible , i wouldn't mind paying for a firmware upgrade to unlock that feature .

For a while, I've been eyeing the Garmin Venu 3 watch , nice watch but no longer interested . I'll stick with FitBit .

Previous owner of Garmin Nuvi 255 and GPSMAP 6x handheld series .

Time to look elsewhere
