I have the same problems with BaseCamp/MapInstall as 1040.

It took place with FW10.25 and 19.19.
ekhagman this was resolved in software version 19.21 that was released yesterday (12/19).
I see that 19.21 beta for Edge 1040 fixed basecamp problem.It will be interesting to see what will happen with Edge Explore 2.Please, let us know if future update will solve your problem.thx.
Thanks! 1040 with 19.21 is OK. And I will check EE2 with 19.21 later.
Just tested to install a map from Basecamp 4.7.5 -> MapInstall (Windows) to my USB connected Edge Explore 2 (FW 19.21) with success.
