Beeping wont stop

How do I turn off all beeps on the edge 840? Is this not possible? I already have tones and key tones turned to off.

    How do I turn off all beeps? The Edge 840 beeps at me too often. Tones and Key Tones are already set to off.

    I as well hate hearing any beeps and have them all turned off.

    I have a 530, but I'd assume the 840 can be soft reset like the older models by holding down the power button until it shuts down.  Often solves a multitude of problems.  Check your tone settings again after the soft reset and make sure they're still set to off.  A soft reset shouldn't change any data or settings.

    The Garmin Edge 840 continues to beep at me when I do not want it to. If you google search "Garmin Edge 840 beeping" you will see there are a lot of people who do not like this beeping! It's very annoying and can be disturbing to others nearby. I might be returning the Garmin Edge 840, Varia UT 800, and VariaTM RCT715 because the Edge 840 beeps at me when I do not want it to.

    What is on the screen when it beeps? That might give us some idea as to why and what can be done about it. Do you have Notifications switched on shpwing what is on your phone? Is it the radar tone?

    Did you try a reset as suggested?  It doesn't cost you anything but about 60 seconds.  No data or settings are lost on a soft reset.
