Garmin 840 Solar, how to remove icon on maps

Hello, i got a Garmin 840 Solar, and on the navigation Map, there is 3 icon rather anoying... I couldn t fond how to remove them... A Friend got a 830, and the icon are not on it (and i thind the Map way easier to read)

Does someone know how to remove them ?

They are not removable. The + and - signs are used to zoom in and out on the map. Tapping the hand icon switches the screen to pan mode so you can pan around the map.

yes, i know how it works,
on the 830 theicon are not there, and it work the same quite well. know i juste have a hand on my trajectory every time....
