If you are requesting this app to be made available for the Edge 840, it would be best to contact the developer directly, either from the CIQ app page (under additional information) or in a Forum discussion.
The X40 devices don't support CIQ widgets since CIQ version 4.x has switched to Apps with glance view. The closest you can get now is an app supporting glance view on the front page. While on the watches this works the same as the widgets, it is not the case on the Edge devices. To me it would make sense if an app has a glance view, then they should give users the option to add the app to the widget loop also. That would at least allow the app to function the same as previous generation Edge devices.
