Well, it's that time of year again. That time when turning on the backlight while out for an evening ride becomes necessary. And then remembering it's on the next ride so you turn it off.
1. Add a setting to optionally automatically keep the backlight on when the unit goes into "night mode" display.
2. Implement a reminder upon power-up that the backlight is always on and battery life may be reduced, with the option to tap something and disable that, or jump to the settings to disable it.
I ask this despite a years-long history of it being ignored, because it doesn't cost me anything. Sadly, it doesn't cost Garmin anything to continue ignoring it, so....
