Continuous dropouts after 8.20 upgrade

Edge wanted to update before today's indoor turbo ride, so I let it. Had constant dropouts from mainly my Powertap P2 pedals, but all sensors kept dropping out and being found again. Restarted the edge twice. Finally switched to Neo 2T as power source and things were better, but not good.

I have enabled it too. Interestingly it crashed (for the first time) a few seconds after randomly rediscovering the Garmin Vector 3 sensor.

I have the same issue with my P1 after the 8.20 update as well. The right pedal continually drops during a ride. The worst is having to clear the check pop up on the screen each and every time.

Can Garmin please post the fix for this? I had to turn of tones during my ride is each disconnect/reconnect was beeping.

Same for me with Garmin speed sensor and Tacx roller. Very annoying when you are doing FTP test and roller drop. Garmin fix it please.

Garmin told me to:

Fully remove all of these sensors by going into the menu of your Edge > sensors > select the sensor > remove > checkmark. After doing this, please re-pair by going to add sensor > search all > select sensors > add sensor.

So I did this. Removed all sensors and then power-cycled the Edge 830. Then added sensors one at a time through 'sensor > search all'. and just accepted the default data screens for each. I'm going to do some rides like this and see if the issue continues. Still running 8.20 firmware.

On my last long ride I also had many drop outs of my heart rate bell and speed sensor after half the way. And also GPS was not recorded as smooth as normal. Many curves were not recognized by GPS.
