Route calculation error message on Edge 830 with 8.10 update.

GPS shows my current location but when I try to put an address or select a destination point on the map I see a random place on the map and later get the error message. Please help.

I have the same problem. It's extremely aggravating to have the "Route Calculation Error" "Maps do not routable roads in this area" appear and beep 999 times during a ride.

What maps do you have installed? What location do you have the problem? It sounds like the maps you are using are not suitable.

Yeah, I upgraded my Garmin Express to the current version. It prompted me to replace my current maps, but I don't have room on my 830 (which doesn't have a memory card). I await instructions from Garmin Support.

What maps do you have on the unit? There should be plenty of space unless you have added several custom maps.
