Navigation map 2020.10 to large

I have tried to install the bicycle navigation map version 2020.10 but I keep getting an error that the file is to big (file size 8.2 GB, available 8.52).
What can I do about this so that I can still install this update?

You have a mixture of Garmin maps and none Garmin maps on the unit.

The gmapgc is the POI map used for address searching etc.

have temporarily deleted files gmapgc and D6017020B from the device. Now Garmin Express still gives the warning that the internal storage is too small for the update ..

Translation:

The latest software is too large for the internal memory of your device. Contact the Product Support etc etc

Maybe remove all big files to your PC; do a factory reset and then move big mapfiles back one by one?

I know I mentioned this before, but after deleting the maps using the Mac you need to empty the trash while the Edge is connected to really free the space up.
